Stevina Chan Lucia’s Restaurant

6 whole eggs
14 oz sweetened condensed milk
10 oz evaporated milk
1 TBSP vanilla
8 oz cream cheese
orange slices for garnish

1 cup sugar
1/2 cup water


In a heavy pan, cook water and sugar together at medium heat until amber in color. Pour into a flan mold and tilt to cover the bottom of mold. Allow to cool

Mix all remaining ingredients in a blender or food processor unit smooth. Pour over cooled caramel. Place the dish with the flan in a larger baking dish with sides. Pour one inch of water in the larger pan to make a water bath. Place in a 300 deg oven for about 45 minutes. Remove from oven and allow to cool completely. Place a serving platter over flan mold and flip over onto platter. Garnish with orange slices to serve.
