Orange and White Orange Cake Thursday, September 13, 2007
1 orange cake mix
1/2 cup cooking oil
1 cup water
1 8 oz can Mandarin oranges, undrained
1 can good white icing
In a large bowl, preferably of an electric mixer, put cake mix, eggs, oil, water, and Mandarin oranges. Mix at low speed to moisten cake mix. Then beat 2 minutes at medium speed of an electric mixer or about 200 strokes by hand. Grease and flour a 9x13" baking dish. Pour in cake mix and bake according to package directions. When done, remove from oven and allow to cool completely before frosting with a good commercial white frosting.
