4 TBSP dried parsley
3 TBSP dried minced onion
3 TBSP chili powder
2 TBSP dried minced chives
2 TBSP ground cumin
Mix all seasonings in a small bowl. Divide into two small attractive containers and add a bow and this recipe to each one:
Low Fat Tex-Mex Dip
½ cup reduced fat mayonnaise (JFG Low Fat or Kraft Free)
½ cup low fat sour cream
1 ½ TBSP Tex-Mex Seasoning
Combine mayo, sour cream and Tex-Mex seasoning. Serve with carrot sticks, celery sticks, mushroom slices, zucchini slices or your favorite veggies. If you must, you may serve it with corn chips.
In addition, this mixes well with any pasta dish, or casserole that you want to give a Southwestern flavor.
