Ingredients

1 cup sugar
1/2 cup butter
1 egg
1 cup chopped dates
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
2 cups flour
2 cups applesauce
1 cup nuts coarsely chopped
1 cup raisins
1 tsp vanilla
2 tsp soda
powdered sugar (optional)

Directions

Cream butter and sugar. Add well beaten egg, vanilla and the rest of the ingredients. Mix. Turn into bundt pan sprayed with baking spray. Bake in a 350 deg oven about 1 hour. Allow to cool in the pan a few minutes before turning out to cool completely. Dust the cooled cake with powdered sugar if you wish.
