Jennifer Small Relay for Life recipe winner
1 head of cabbage, coarsely chopped
1 can tomatoes with green chilies (Hot or medium)
1 TBSP chili powder (or to taste)
1 lb hot sausage, fried and drained
Fry sausage and drain. Cook cabbage, tomatoes and chili pepper together. Stir in sausage and cook on low for about 45 minutes. Serve with cornbread.
