Buttermilk Salad Thursday, July 3, 2008


1 large can crushed pineapple
1 large (or 2 small) pkg strawberry gelatin
2 cups buttermilk
1 12 oz pkg whipped topping
1 cup strawberries
1 cup nuts


Heat the pineapple to boiling. Stir in the gelatin until it is dissolved. Cool completely. Add buttermilk, whipped topping, fruit and nuts. Turn into a 2 quart mold (or a 9x13" dish) and chill until set.
