Tiny Toffee Rolls Friday, May 16, 2008

Ingredients

6 TBSP butter, softened
1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
1 tsp cinnamon
1/3 cup toffee bits or brickle bits
2 8 oz tubes crescent rolls (8 to a tube)
1 cup confectioners sugar
4 tsp milk , approx
1/4 tsp vanilla

Directions

In a small bowl, cream butter, brown sugar and cinnamon until completely mixed. Stir in toffee bits. Separate each tube of roll dough into 4 rectangles. Seal perforations.
Spread the butter mixture on all of the triangles. Roll up each rectangle up jelly roll fashion starting with the long side. Cut each into 6 slices about 1 inch thick. Place cut side down in a greased 9x13" pan. Bake at 375 deg about 15 minutes or until golden brown. In a small bowl, combine the confectioner’s sugar, milk and vanilla until smooth. Drizzle over warm rolls. Serve warm.
