Chocolate Kahlua Cake April 28, 2008


1 box devil's food cake mix
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1 6 oz pkg chocolate instant pudding
4 eggs
1/2 cup kahlua or strong coffee
1/2 cup water
6 TBSP kahlua or black coffee
1 cup confectioner's sugar


Preheat oven to 350 deg. Grease and flour Bundt cake pan. Combine first 6 ingredients in mixing bowl. Mix 30 seconds to combine. Beat 2 minutes at medium speed. Pour into pan. Batter will be thick. Bake 45 to 50 minutes or until tests done. Mix kahlua and confectioners sugar. Poke holes in warm cake. Pour kahlua mixture over cake. Let stand 2 hours at least. Remove from pan. Run case knife around edges if cake sticks.
