roll of bologna (look for a 3 lb chub)
wheat berry bread (or similar multi-grain bread)
Pre-slice bologna into 1 inch slices. In a Teflon pan, melt a small amount of butter or margarine. Fry the bologna slices until they start to brown. Drain the bologna on a paper towel. Select your favorite bread and add your favorite condiments like mayo, mustard or whatever you prefer. Next layer slices of bologna, lettuce and tomato. Top with another slice of bread. Add condiments, bologna, lettuce and tomato and slice with a third slice of bread. Cut in half and serve with your favorite side dish.
At Dollywood, they serve this sandwich with potato salad made from roasted red potatoes. They also do a version of this sandwich which is done with slices of bacon. Fry the bacon slices until brown and then proceed exactly as for the bologna sandwiches.
