Green Bean Casserole Friday, February 15, 2008


Dora Mc (That is as much of a name as she gave me)

1 Small to medium onion diced
1 lb sausage
4 TBSP of flour
2 cans of drained green beans
2 1/2 cups tomatoes or 2 cans diced tomatoes, undrained
1 teaspoon seasoning salt or just salt
1 tsp pepper


1 cup bisquick
1/3 cup milk


Cook sausage and onion together and then stir in flour, beans, tomatoes, salt and pepper. Bring to a boil then pour into a 9x13 inch baking dish. Top with bisquick crust made with 1 cup bisquick mixed with 1/3 cup milk. Knead until smooth and roll out flat. Place over hot bean mixture and bake at 425 deg about 20 minutes or until brown.
