Ingredients and directions are mixed on this one. Read on.

Betty Castellaw

In an UNGREASED 9x13" pan, mix
3 cups plain flour
2 cups sugar
1/2 cup cocoa
1 tsp each soda and salt

Make three holes in the above mixture. In one pour 1 TBSP vinegar. In the next put 2 tsp vanilla and in the third, put 3/4 cup cooking oil. Pour 2 cups water over all and mix well with a fork. Bake 45 minutes at 350 deg.

Mix 1 stick butter, 1/2 cup milk and 1/4 cup cocoa. Bring to a boil and simmer for 5 minutes. Beat in one box of confectioners sugar. If icing is too thick, add a little hot coffee to thin. Spread on cooled cake. Enjoy

This is another of the Freaky Friday recipes. This is an old and much tested recipe which is a great novelty. It is fun to make with kids.
