Steak in a Sack Tuesday, April 3, 2012


Pita bread 1 ea
Steak- grilled 5 oz
Onions 1 oz
Mushrooms 1/2 oz
Green peppers 1 oz
Diced tomatoes 1/4 cup
Shredded lettuce 1/4 cup
Greek dressing 1 oz
Tzatziki sauce 1.5 oz


Marinate beef in Greek dressing for 2 hours in the refrigerator. In a hot skillet add beef and cook on medium high heat, while cooking add the onions, mushrooms and green peppers and cook till the vegetables are soft, about 5 min.
Cut Pita in half and stuff with beef and vegetables. Place shredded lettuce and diced tomatoes on top. Pour Tzatziki sauce over the top and serve. Tzatziki sauce is a mixture of grated cucumber and sour cream.
