Traditional Cheese Ball Monday, December 3, 2007


1 lb sharp cheddar cheese, grated
8 oz cream cheese
8 oz blue cheese
1 small onion, grated fine
Tabasco sauce to taste (1 tsp will be hot use less if you want mild)
1 TBSP Worcestershire sauce
Paprika, dry parsley, chopped nuts, or any mix of these for coating


Have all cheese at room temperature. Blend all together thoroughly. Shape into three balls and roll tightly in plastic wrap. Chill at least overnight to blend flavors. When ready to serve, allow to come to room temperature and roll in chosen covering or coverings. Serve with small crackers.
