As November draws to a close...expect up and down temperatures with a chance of rain mid week. Below normal temperatures have moved into the east as strong high pressure is building in from the northwest. While some areas of the east have seen temperatures at freezing or below this fall..other areas have not. But that will change the next couple of nights. Most inland areas will see lows in the upper 20s and lower 30s. I'm expecting freezing temperatures for most locations... with the exception being the Outer Banks...where enough wind and warmer water will keep temperatures in the middle and upper 30s. High temperatures on Sunday will struggle to 50 degrees..with upper 50s by Monday. A brief warm up will take place Tuesday and Wednesday as a cold front gets closer. In fact the mercury will be near 70 degrees on Tuesday..with middle 60s on Wednesday with increasing showers and thunderstorms Tuesday night and Wednesday. There is a possibility of some severe weather with the cold front. We'll have to watch it. After the front...temperatures fall back into the 50s for highs Thursday through Saturday...with overnight lows in the 30s.
