The Warmest Week Of The Year Across Eastern Carolina

Unseasonably warm conditions will encompass eastern Carolina for much of the week.

High pressure just off the East Coast will push a warm southwesterly breeze into eastern Carolina for the remainder of the week.  Afternoon highs will reach the middle 80s Tuesday and upper 80s to near 90° Wednesday through the weekend.  There is a slight possibility of a stray shower each day but most locations will go through the entire week without a drop.  Overnight lows will be in the middle to upper 60s at the end of the week.  Afternoons will feature partly to mostly sunny skies with a light south to southwest breeze.

The beaches will see plenty of sunshine through the week.  Afternoon highs will be in the upper 70s to lower 80s.  Winds will blow from the southwest at 10 to 15 knots each day.
