The Chill Continues Through The Holidays

Cold weather across eastern North Carolina will continue through the holidays.

Cold air has become entrenched across the Southeast and will likely hold through the end of the month.  Temperatures during the month of December have averaged about 11 degrees below normal for the first 15 days.  It is unlikely to remain that extreme through the end of the month but below normal readings can be expected on most days.  We've seen a touch of snow so far in December and it looks like additional threats are on the way for the next week to 10 days.  Some folks have been wishing for a White Christmas and it may not be a far fetched reality this year.
