A fairly quiet and seasonable weather pattern can be expected across eastern Carolina during the upcoming week. Highs will average in the lower to middle 70s with overnight lows in the 50s. There will be a slight risk for showers both Tuesday and Wednesday with a slow drying trend for the latter portion of the week.
Thus far it has been an unusually quiet severe weather season not only for eastern Carolina but the nation as a whole. It appears the weather will remain relatively quiet as we push into the first week of May.
