The weather pattern across the United States will give seasonable weather across the United States through next week. A series of cold fronts will move through our area for the next several days and that will reinforce the dry and cool conditions. The coolest weather will occur over the weekend with highs in the upper 40s to lower 50s. There is little chance for rain after tonight for the next 7 to 8 days. There is still a lot of uncertainty beyond the middle of December. It is unlikely that severe cold will move into our area through December 20th and possibly beyond. Christmas is little far away at this point. Keep in mind that a White Christmas is uncommon across our area. Our most recent one was in 1989 and we almost got blanketed by Christmas last year. We just missed it by one day. I'll look at our odds for this year by the end of next week.
