The weather has been quite pleasant over the past few days. It is not abnormal to have long stretches of nice weather during October and November. In fact, these two months are historically the driest months of the year. It has been true so far this year as well. In October only 1.20" on rain fell on the area. That compares with nearly 22" during the month of September. November has been quiet as well with only .74" of rain thus far. It looks like the dry stretch of weather will continue through the weekend. The next chance for significant rainfall will arrive the middle of next week as a series of cold fronts move into the Southeast. You can also expect colder weather to arrive at the end of November. Consequently, it is a great time to take care of outdoor chores before colder and wetter weather arrives.
