It looks like spring has definitely arrived across eastern Carolina. Slowly but surely we've seen the flowers in bloom and trees are getting close to showing their foliage. The dogwoods are beginning to show their beautiful spring flowers. Warmer weather during the late week and weekend will allow more plants to display their beauty. Afternoon highs will reach the lower 70s Thursday then well into the 70s to around 80 degrees through the weekend. The beaches will be a bit cooler but there will be lots of sunshine everywhere. It should stay dry through the weekend. It will certainly be nice for outdoor activities but the pollen count will be increasing once again. A good chance for showers will come by the middle of next week.
