Daily weather will change very little through much of this week across eastern North Carolina. A stationary frontal system across western North Carolina will bring showers and thunderstorms in that area for the next few days. Eastern North Carolina will be far enough east to avoid most of the rain although some isolated showers could pop up over the next few days. A stronger cold front will arrive by the weekend and that will offer the best chance for rain. Daily highs should hit the middle to upper 70s with overnight lows in the 50s.
