We are still about 10 days away from Easter Weekend but all indications point to warm temperatures. The average high temperature for the last week of April is around the middle 70s. Of course, we can still get a few chilly days in late April or early May but long-range model forecasts suggest a warm period will develop just before that weekend. Temperatures will reach the lower to middle 70s the next several days but a building ridge of high pressure will likely take high into the upper 70s to lower 80s by the middle of next week. The building warmth should last through Easter Weekend. The main question at this point is whether we'll see showers on that weekend. It will be several more days before we can fine tune that forecast.
