Warm and humid conditions have dominated our weather pattern over the past several days with many communities receiving heavy rainfall. A strong cold front will push off the North Carolina coast Friday night and that will dramatically end the warm and wet pattern we've experienced. Highs over the weekend will be in the 60s with overnight lows reaching the lower 40s. The air will be dry and crisp. We'll see a slow warming trend get underway by Monday but temperatures will stay below normal for much of the next week. Dry weather conditions are also expected to remain in place for the next week and that will give all of us a chance to dry out. Sunny skies will prevail for the next several days.
