A Cooler Week Across Eastern Carolina

Cooler temperatures will move into eastern Carolina for much of the next week.

We'll see a return of chilly temperatures after several days of spring-like weather across the area.  Temperatures last Friday surged well into the 70s in most locations but we're unlikely to see it that warm again for a while.  Afternoon highs will be in the 40s to middle 50s for much of the week.  We could see a few showers late Tuesday into Wednesday but any precipitation should be light.  No significant storms are expected for the next few days although there will be some clouds from time to time.  A few nights may drop slightly below freezing late in the week as colder air invades the area.  Near or slight below normal temperatures are expected to continue through the weekend into early next week.
