The weather has turned warmer just in time for Easter Weekend. A huge area of high pressure will settle over the Southeast through the weekend and that should mean warm and dry conditions. The beaches should be a fine place to be right through early next week. It will be cool in the morning with lows in the 50s. Afternoon highs will range from the middle to upper 60s along the Outer Banks to the lower to middle 70s along the Crystal Coast and southward into the Azalea Coast near Wilmington. Winds will be light out of the east and southeast through Saturday then become light southwesterly Easter into early next week. The Ultra Violet forecast shows a high reading through the weekend so it would be a good idea to slather sunscreen on the body before heading out into the sun for very long.
