High pressure will settle across the Southeast over the next few days giving us plenty of sunshine and warming temperatures. Highs should reach the lower to middle 80s Thursday through the Easter Weekend. The only exception will be on the coast where the chilly ocean water will hold temperatures into the upper 60s to lower 70s in most sections. Winds will become light westerly for the next few days, except light easterly along the immediate coast as the sea breeze kicks in during the midday and afternoon. It appears that the warm conditions will last into the middle of next week and that will be great news for many of the kids that are out of school next week on Easter vacation. It is certainly best taste of spring we've seen thus far.
