The weather pattern is finally evolving into a normal pattern after a wet winter. Rainfall during the winter months ran about 200% above normal and was one of the wettest winters on record. The WITN Weather Station received about 32 inches of precipitation from early November through the end of February. After the first week of March, weather conditions began to moderate and the jet stream returned to a normal position. We should see more typical weather as we move into spring with episodes of showers and seasonable temperatures. Right now it appears a big warm-up may be in store around Easter.
