It's time to spring ahead tonight as Daylight "Saving" Time starts at 2:00 am Sunday. It's not "Savings" time. A viewer made a good point in that it's not savings, like a bank. But how may times in the last several days have you heard both. I suppose it's a silly argument to some degree. Either way, we still have to move the clocks ahead regardless. Sunday morning's sunrise will be 7:22 am instead of 6:22 am, with the sunset being 7:16 pm instead of 6:16 pm. The proximity in time between the sunrise and sunset indicates the change to spring is coming up soon. In fact spring officially arrives on March 20th. And hopefully spring is here for good. Temperatures this week will be in the 50s and 60s, with lows in the 30s and 40s, normal for this time of year. We're not expecting too much in the way of precipitation, and no snow in the forecast. Yippee.
