Temperatures have been quite chilly this winter across eastern North Carolina. It will make this weekend feel even better as we hit the middle to upper 50s for highs. There should also be plenty of sunshine to go along with the warmer temperatures. In fact, the upcoming weekend will have the nicest weather we've seen since December. Over the past two months we've seen several episodes of rainy, icy and cold conditions. Over the last three weekends we've seen ice and snow, then 2 to 4 inches of rain and finally, several inches of snow last Friday night and Saturday. I think many of us were wondering whether we'd ever get out of this nasty cycle. It finally appears we will on Saturday and Sunday. I may just go for a bike ride.
