Another Storm System Mid Week

The seemingly endless parade of storms will continue as showers increase late Tuesday, and into Wednesday. The bad news is that many rivers and streams are already near bankful and above, and more rain is not what we need. Many area streams and  rivers will flood this week, with  widespread low land flooding likely. The good news is that this storm system moving in midweek should not produce as much rain as the previous one did. Also it appears we get a break from the rain after Wednesday, when dry weather is expected for the rest of the week into the weekend.

As far as this next storm, it appears we'll see somewhere on the order of .25" to .75' of rain. The additional rain on top of what we've received lately will not drastically affect the level of streams and rivers across the east. The storm track will adjust  a bit to the south late week, keeping a storm system tracking to the south of the region. We could get clipped by some rain and or snow, but at this point it appears the storm track, as of now, is south of the region.
