Nice Weather Short Lived

After a beautiful Tuesday for eastern Carolina, a wet and chilly pattern is setting up into the weekend.

A ridge of high pressure brought beautiful weather to the east on Tuesday with highs in the 70s. That's about to change. Developing low pressure across the southeast will be heading our way increasing the clouds late tonight into Wednesday, with rain developing from south to north  across the region. It will be chilly and rainy from late Wednesday into Friday. With high pressure to the north and a chilly northeast wind, temperatures will struggle into the 50s for the next few days. Over the weekend we'll start to dry out, but don't expect a big warm up as temperatures struggle into the upper 50s and lower 60s. Overnight lows will range from the 40s to the 50s.
