A real taste of summer is coming to North Carolina this weekend. Many folks would argue that its about time since March was a cool month and temperatures so far in April have been about 1 degree below normal. The past few days have seen temperatures on a roller coaster ride with highs on Wednesday only reaching the lower 60s. The warm-up will start Thursday afternoon as temperatures reach the lower to middle 70s, except upper 60s along the beaches. Temperatures could surge to 80° by Friday afternoon and into the middle to upper 80s this weekend. It will definitely be the warmest weekend so far this year and most of us will welcome it. Skies remain sunny with little chance for rain until the middle of next week.
