Unsettled Week Ahead

Probably won't need the sunglasses too much this week.

As we head into a new work week...clouds will be plentiful and sunshine at a premium. It appears the last week of January will be active across the country with a series of fronts heading our way. We'll be seeing some very cold air lurking just off to our north...with modified air to the south..in between a stationary front will be draped across the region. This front will be wavering back and forth across the region this week...focusing showers across eastern North Carolina much of the week ahead. The best chance for some soaking rain comes Wednesday...and then again on Friday. It appears we finally dry things out...but not until next weekend as high pressure builds into the area. It could be quite chilly the end of the week into the weekend.
