After a nice Thanksgiving week rain will overspread the area from the south today and will linger through the weekend. 1-2 inches of rain is likely throughout most of the viewing area, beach areas could receive more than 2 inches.
We saw a very nice Thanksgiving with sunny skies and temperatures finally more seasonable in the low to middle 60's. Unfortunately, this dry mild weather pattern is changing as a low pressure system approaches from the south. There is a lot of moisture associated with this system and we are expecting 1-2 inches of rainfall from late Saturday through Sunday. Some coastal areas could receive even more than 2 inches of rain. The dry air returns Monday with cooler temperatures once again below average.
