The average high in Mid to Late November here in Eastern North Carolina is in the lower 60's. The past week we have been struggling with high temperatures in the 40's and overnight lows in the middle 20's. We received two days of scattered snow showers and temperatures colder than an average January day.
We will be getting a brief break from the cold Monday as we get a southerly flow ahead of the next cold front which will pass through Monday night. Although this next cold front will not have extremely cold air behind it, we will see temperatures fall back down into the lower to middle 50's for the remainder of the week.
Enjoy the "warm-up" Monday...even though temperatures will still be a few degrees cooler than average. It will just feel warmer given the recent cold blast.
