Cold Air To Dominate
It appears that cold air will dominate the weather in North Carolina for the next week.
Temperatures will remain below normal at least for the next week across North Carolina. A quick check of the temperatures thus far in November shows a warm beginning followed by significant cooling over the past few days. Overall the month has averaged close to normal since November 1. Cold air seems to be taking hold across the eastern half of the United States and Eastern North Carolina is centered right in the middle of it. Over the next week we should average between 5 and 10 degrees below normal. By the way, our normal highs this time of year are in the lower to middle 60s with overnight lows in the lower 40s. Little if any rainfall is expected at least through the weekend. That means plenty of sunshine and that should help ease the sting of cold weather.
