Peak Color Comes To Eastern North Carolina
The colors of the fall season are reaching their peak across Eastern North Carolina.
The fall season can certainly be beautiful across Eastern North Carolina but the colors this year seem to be more beautiful than usual. Below freezing temperatures came to the area last week and has enhanced the color of several deciduous trees, especially dogwoods and maples. No doubt the next heavy rain and strong winds will take many of the leaves off those trees. I think you can take a trip almost anywhere across Eastern North Carolina and enjoy the beauty. There will be more clouds around on Saturday as a weak cold front pushes through the area. By Sunday the clouds will dissipate and plenty of sunshine should give us spectacular views of our fall colors.
