Eastern Carolina is enjoying some gorgeous weather of late...and more is on the way.

A succession of high pressure cells continues to reinforce dry and seasonable weather with low humidity. The dry air is responsible for morning lows in the 40's and 50's...with highs in the 70's and 80's.

By Tuesday there will be yet another massive ridge of high pressure across New England building down the coast into eastern Carolina..cooling us back from around 80...back into the lower 70's for highs on Tuesday..with a slow moderation in temperatures as the week goes on. Overnight lows will be in the 50's and possibly 40's for interior areas.

The next chance for rain could come in Thursday into Friday...hard to pin down at this point.
