We all know Marvin Daugherty as a weatherman. But you can now add "dancer" to his resume.
He and fellow WITN meteorologist Matt Engelbrecht are brave men. They are taking part in this year's "Dancing With Our Stars" event in Beaufort County.
Marvin, Matt and a host of other well-known faces will dance in the annual event, which is being held August 13 at the Turnage Theater.
Eagle's Wings, Beaufort County's largest food pantry, and nine other non-profit organizations will benefit from the proceeds.

I do have to add, in case you are on the fence about whether to go... I saw the receipt for the costumes for Marvin and Matt. I just have two words... disco shirts.
All jokes aside, we're very proud of Marvin, Matt and all the people who give up a great deal of time to help support those less fortunate in Eastern Carolina.
