Chelsea Donovan's Next Chapter

It was with much regret that we recently announced Chelsea Donovan was departing the WITN News team in December.

Chelsea has been a valuable member of the WITN family for six years. She has tackled much in that time... producing, reporting and anchoring.

Her work in WITN's Jacksonville Bureau and the southern part of Eastern Carolina has been of great benefit to WITN and its viewers.

We thank Chelsea for her dedication and hard work. We'll miss her, and we know the viewers will too.

The good news... Chelsea is staying in the area, so she won't be leaving Eastern Carolina. She said she's just ready to try something new.

We know she'll succeed in whatever new adventure she embarks on. We'll miss you Chelsea!

I always looked forward to seeing you on the news and your coverage of the Seafood Festival in Morehead City was one of my favorites. I did a google search just this week to find out where you have been. You will certainly be missed. Best of luck in your new endeavors.

Sure hate to see Chelsea leave WITN! She is a natural on camera talent and will be sorely missed by this viewing family! Wishing her the very best in her new endeavors. Thanks Chelsea for a job well done.
