College is still several years away for my children, but we're learning more all the time about how competitve the admission process is and what is needed to succeed in that process.
I don't seem to recall the same sense of urgency and early planning when I was their age (12 and 14) and even earlier to secure a spot in a desired school, but a lot of years have passed!
We'd like to hear your stories about the admission process in our state and beyond. Was it easy or hard? What surprised you? How did SAT scores and GPAs factor in? Any tips you can share? The more specific you can be (schools, scores and more), the better. We'd like to share your insight in future stories about the college application and admission process.
