What did you say?
I'm having a bit of trouble hearing today, as I spent several hours last night listening to thousands of pre-teen and teen girls scream at the top of their lungs for pop sensation Justin Bieber.
The concert was an early birthday gift for my daughter, who took along a friend.
Armed with ear plugs and my cell phone, I figured I could survive the onslaught of Bieber fever.
To my surprise though, I found myself enjoying the concert. This young man can really sing and really dance, and he put on a great show. His sincerity resonated. I was also surprised by the number of acoustic numbers he did, swinging over the crowd as he strummed his guitar.
I also enjoyed the time spent with my daughter and her friend, a refreshing moment simply sharing a cool experience.
It was definitely worth the trip.
