Trying To Lose Weight...Try The Junk Food Diet

A Kansas State University professor is making world headlines by his claims of losing thirty pounds in ten weeks all while eating junk food. 

Nutritionist Mark Haub says it all began as a class project to challenge his students to think outside the box.  What he came up with was eating junk food every day...Twinkies, nutty bars and snack cakes of all kinds.  The result was a thirty pound weight loss.

So how exactly did professor Haub do it?  Well, truth be told, he says it really boils down to counting calories.  He documented what he ate everyday and tried to stick with 1,800 calories a day.  But he says those calories included the fatty junk foods that he craved and wanted to eat.  Ultimately,  he says his diet may challenge the notion that you cannot eat fatty foods everyday and lose weight.

Professor Haub says when it comes to dieting, many people end up ditching their plans because they don't like what they're eating.  He says the junk food diet shows, at least for him, you can eat what you want...even junk food.  The key he says is moderation.

Now if someone could show me how to stop at just one donut, or one cookie, or one candy bar I might give it a try!!!

    Food to loose weight? When you wake up in the morning, do you walk into the bathroom, look in the mirror and see Jabba the Hut from Star Wars smiling back at you, trying food to loose weight . Keeping up with every diet pill or diet solution plan out there and the weight just keeps coming back. If this is you, then the pills and the diets are working. That is, for the companies making these products.

    Eating occasional junk food can in fact be healthy for you as it won't give you a feeling of deprivation. However, if you put all your caloric intake with 3/4 junk food you can get other health problems such as diabetes. And with people today busy with their work and have no time to even eat proper meals, how can they take time off to actually write their calorie intake?     Weight Watchers has already illustrated how this works quite efficiently. It should be calculated based on personal BMI though. They just did the calculations for you already and converted it to a point system that's easier to use. Some people are actually not eating enough in trying to "diet", and their body knows it. It then goes into starvation mode and won't burn anything. Then they wonder why they can't lose weight.
