It's that time of the year for newspapers to hand out their endorsements of political candidates.
What do you think of this practice from newspapers? Does it really mean anything to you when you go into the voting booth? Do you think it is appropriate for an organization tasked with reporting on politicians to offer such endorsements? Do you think a newspaper endorsement shows a political bias?
Here's one thing I learned about newspaper endorsements as I pondered the above questions. The two biggest newspapers in the country, USA Today and The Wall Street Journal, do not endorse candidates.
