If you're among those who question whether President Obama was born in Hawaii...well, you're just going to have to trust that he was.
Hawaii legislators, tired of dealing with the controversy, passed a measure allowing the state to ignore repeated requests for the birth certificate.
State officials say they receive at least 20 email requests a week. The measure, approved on Tuesday, makes an exemption in the state's public records law and allows officials to ignore duplicated requests for documents.
Hawaii's health director says he has records proving Obama was born in Honolulu to a Kenyan father and American mother. The bill is now with Hawaii's governor.
So what do you think about what the lawmakers are doing? And what do you think about the whole controversy to begin with? Are you satisfied with the documents you've seen showing Obama was born in Honolulu...or do you believe it's all a big cover-up?
