Swine Flu Vaccine: Will You Get It?

It could be available in time for the flu season this fall.

Eastern Carolina recently saw its first fatality from swine flu, or the H1N1 virus.  The death of LaTasha Farmer of Wilson brought back into focus the illness that was so talked about earlier this year.

We have been hearing for some time that researchers are working diligently on a vaccine.  Right now, the government is looking for volunteers to take the swine flu vaccine and some medical centers around the country before it's widely distributed.  This week, WITN's Ken Heineck reported that this fall, people wishing to get vaccinated for the flu may actually get two vaccines.  There would be one for the seasonal strain and one for the H1N1 virus.

Do you think you'll get the vaccine for the swine flu when it becomes available?

A hard question to answer. I say that because it is very hard to trust our government as to what they call facts about the vaccine.
