Obama Half Hour Ad...Will You be Watching?

It brings back memories of Ross Perot when he rain for President...a candidate buying a big block of TV time for a political ad.

Political ads have blanketed the TV airwaves this year...Wednesday night ratchets that up a notch.

Barack Obama will air a 30 minute ad Wednesday night on all the major networks, except for ABC.

People familiar with discussions between the network and the Obama campaign say that ABC tried to reach an agreement on airing the commercial on a different night, but it didn't work out. By the time ABC had decided Wednesday night was OK, the campaign had already finalized its ad buy.

The 30-minute spot is scheduled to run on CBS, NBC, Univision, BET, MSNBC and TV One.

Well, it was a choice between the infomercial or the widget sale on QVC, I really like widgets...

I'd rather watch basket weaving than this crooked man.

I will not be watching this. Boycott this TV infomercial and show that the Presidency cannot be purchased. Running for President has turned in to "who can spend the most money" and get their NAME out there the most. The most negative ads on all sides being the most popular.

Yeah I'll watch. Just for curiosity mostly. I think it's kind of neat he's running an infommercial.
