Political ads have blanketed the TV airwaves this year...Wednesday night ratchets that up a notch.
Barack Obama will air a 30 minute ad Wednesday night on all the major networks, except for ABC.
People familiar with discussions between the network and the Obama campaign say that ABC tried to reach an agreement on airing the commercial on a different night, but it didn't work out. By the time ABC had decided Wednesday night was OK, the campaign had already finalized its ad buy.
The 30-minute spot is scheduled to run on CBS, NBC, Univision, BET, MSNBC and TV One.
