How Will You React?

There clearly will be disappointed voters with the outcome of the presidential election.

There clearly will be disappointed voters with the outcome of the presidential election.  What if your candidate doesn't prevail?

If you want Senator Obama to win, how will you react if he happens to lose?  If you want Senator McCain to win, how will you react if he looses?  Think about it for a moment.

Whatever word you want to use...historic, unprecedented, polarizing...it seems we are at another huge turning point in American history with this election.

When you're at a turning point it seems there are two ways to go...up or down.  Will we be able to find common ground for the common good as a nation, while holding onto our core beliefs, or will we only be driven further apart.

It would seem that how people react following this election, regardless of what they think about it, will tell a lot about what kind of people we really are.

After all, if you don't like the outcome, you have four years to affect a positive change!

I totally agree with DS and Kenneth. Either way this country is going to be in the biggest mess ever. What has happened to the Good old USA. We need a good and honest leader but instead we are going to have to look over our shoulders wondering what will happen. Why do you think gun sales have gone up 8%. We are in for a long haul and it is not going to be pretty. The next thing you will be hearing is they will have to call the military in to try and keep peace in our own country. This is such a sad situation. I just hope and pray my instincts are wrong.

No matter who wins this election, the Vice President will eventually become President.

I'm already a disappointed voter. What you have running are two democrats. One liberal democrat with questionable associations and one moderate democrat prone to random outbursts of anger and child like pouting. The republicans have no nominee this year. In my opinion no matter which one wins the election they will serve only one term. Best to let the democrats take the blame for the next four years and hopefully the republicans can put forth a real conservative nominee four years from now.
