Welcome to the new WITN.Com. What do you like? What don't you like? Is there something we should add to the site or take away? We're evolving and we are listening to your feedback. Post your comment and let us know.

Welcome to the new WITN.Com.  We're still a work in progress but take a look around and tell us what you think.  Add your comment to this blog or send me an e-mail at the station.

As I'm reading your initial feedback, it appears a lot of you miss the thumbnails (the little pictures in front of the articles).  If you prefer to browse stories with the pictures, try clicking on the news section.  Most of the stories are the same but we still have the thumbnails there.

We're working to add some new sections including ACC Sports, High School Sports, National/World News and State/Regional News.  We've improved our County Closeup sections and soon will add sections for two adjacent markets; Wilmington and The Raleigh-Durham/Triangle area.

We have a couple more elements that we're planning to add soon as well.  Is there anything else that you'd like to see?

You provided excellent coverage on the web of the Greenville downtown shooting. Then I watch your news at six...Really? You couldn't be bothered to send a single person to cover the biggest story in months?!?! How you let your anchor say a few brief words about it and move on is utterly stunning to me. I like your website, but I absolutly will not ever watch another newscast again. By the way...my sister said she watched channel nine and they had all kinds of coverage. I know your website is your priority(based on all the tinkering you've done with it recently), but seriously, this is ridiculous. To blow off, screw up, or fail to outright to cover that big of a story is a joke.

I enjoy the news stories. Reading the blogs-not so much. Of course I know I have the choice not to read them. There is alot of bashing in the blogs. Name calling and such. It doesnt show your professionalism posting these types of comments.

Put it back the way it was - I don't like the new home page.

NYY: The fact that you could not formulate a more cogent defense is proof enough of who is the "slow" one amongst us. Let me ask you another question for you to dodge, why are you on the WITN site? Could it be, that you live here in the south? I'll even give you a clue here, if you say "yes" to this, I will further bludgeon your "intellect" here. By the way NYY, where exactly are you from? Good luck with this, you're gonna need it.

Ryan is the typical slow southerner and is in denial.

I definitely prefer the old web site. I agree with the other comments- this looks like WNCT- which is not user friendly. The only time I go to that site is to look for larger pictures associated with a story. NYY- you have got to be kidding!
