My three year old Lauren is quite the parrot. She's very good at repeating what you say, even repeating full lines from her favorite stories. She amazes me with what she can repeat and remember!
One parenting question I've had a hard time deciding about is whether to encourage or enforce the use of "sir" and "ma'am." I grew up in the Midwest where we didn't address adults that way. In Greenville, I see it both ways. Some kids say it; some don't. I know Lauren knows how to use the words correctly, but I have yet to start enforcing it with her. The question is: should I? I look forward to your feedback!
